Atlas of Oceans is a songwriting partnership from Brisbane Australia. Aussie producer/musician James North and Kiwi singer/songwriter Lix Bacskay compose the majority of their songs to commission for film, tv, game media and advertising. Atlas of Oceans is a unique pairing of talents and experience, as the duo also write, record and release for other projects.
The name Atlas of Oceans fell from a much loved childhood book and represents the boundless reach of music, the potential vast reach of synching and a love of travel across an ever shrinking world.
Vocalist and lyricist Lix steps deftly on stepping stones laid by James' instrumentation and production. No project falls beyond the abilities of Atlas of Oceans.
