Atomic Hi-5 is a high energy five piece guitar based alternative rock band.  Eby's heavy guitar riffs and cord progression are augmented with a compliment of trippy guitar effects and lead guitar, slap bass, aggressive drumming, a solid groove, and the at times harrowing lyrics of Steve Weimer.

Since forming just a few months ago, the band has recorded its first five song EP, and has written songs for their second EP, projected to be released in late 2015.  The band is also writing additional material for the third release. 

AH5 formed in the aftermath of a band breakup.  Derek Fairres, the bassist of the former band, stayed with Eric Eby to form Atomic Hi-5.  Eric tapped friend Steve Weimer as the lead vocalist.  Wayne Young and Jeremiah Estes responded to Eric's local Craigslist adds and joined the band through audition. 

Since then, in addition to writing and recording, Atomic Hi-5 has focused on building a robust high energy set, with dates in Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri.  The band is releasing their first, self titled EP spring 2015, with a single release party at JR's Lightbulb Club in Fayetteville, AR.  The band has also been tapped for two future festival line ups, Fayetteville Arkansas' Springfest and Winnfest.  The band is currently booking club and festival dates.
