Bio

"Our first album "Love is in the missile" is finally out. Atom Smash is more than just a Radio Friendly Rock band. It's in their live show were one can really feel the elements of Grunge swirled with the impact of arena rock. "We like to keep our live show unpredictable and guttural. I want people to question the kind of band we really are in relation to the album." There debut Album "Love is in the Missile" was released in August of 2010 on Jive records. The album goes from one extreme to the other. Grunge Tracks like Ashes and Sacrifice switching gears in what seems to be different car on ballads like "Erase those days" and "Shooting Star". Variety is key with this album. The process began in 2006. Sergio Sanchez of Cuban decent and South Florida producer Paul Trust began to write songs and seek out a killer guitarist. Z was the first member to come on board. He left his country of Austria to chase a Rock 'n' Roll dream. Arnold came along in 2008 and shortly after Miami's hardest hitting drummer Mark Annino joined the crew. The nickname "Taco" came from an 80s coverband the band dabbles in "Aquanet". The band name finally came in late 2008 in a text from band managers Dirk and Emily Hemsath. There's no fancy back story to how the name came about just two words that suit the bands energy. 2009 was a brutal year. The guys grinded through 200 shows living as low as it gets. "Thats when we became a band and true rockers for that matter"-Serg. They hit many highs and lows keeping them very humbled. Even the tour van going up in flames in late 2009 didn't slow the process down. In early 2010 Luke "Cowboy" Rice joined the pack. His aggressive playing and performance was a huge addition to the group. Atom Smash has shared the stage with Buckcherry, Filter, Hellyeah, Drowning Pool, Chevelle, Cavo, Red, Sick Puppies, Halestorm, Tantric, Trapt and more. "When Filters Richard Patrick said wow Jive signed a grunge band! I had chills" says Serg. Jive records A&R Guru Jeff Fenster signed the band in early 2010 after giving "Do Her Wrong" a listen."Signing with Jive was a feeling of relief that maybe we're not as crazy as everyone thought we were for sticking with this." Atom Smash hit the studio with producers David Bendeth and Paul Trust to create an explosive debut album. "Do Her Wrong" which reached #1 on Sirius/Xm's Octane channel and #25 on the Rock Charts is anthem for men who can't seem to hold on to a good thing. "Sacrifice" was placed as the WWE "Hell in a cell" theme song. Atom Smash will continue to tour until every rocker in the world gets a taste! "Were a band that likes to consider people who like our music friends. The word fan just doesn't sound right. We enjoy hanging out in the clubs verses sitting in the dressing rooms so we can meet these awesome people. Its like one big, loud, happy family.". In early 2011 our beloved guitarist "Z" decided to part ways and stay in his home country of Austria. The band presses on as a 4 piece. - Serg
