A Trophy Life is quickly proving themselves as one of Canada’s most hard-working yet easy-going independent bands; and their fan base continues to expand tour after tour. With only their hearts and songs to call their own, Shawn Kilgrain (Drive By Punch), Nick Stecz (I Hate Sally), Harrison Bourdon and Joshua McDaniel have chosen a life on the road and intend to ride it until the wheels fall off.

In the fall of 2006, four voices came together to quit their lives and create the means to a dream that is A TROPHY LIFE: A tongue-in-cheek, Power-Pop soundtrack for your busted-ass life. Their fun-obsessed way of living began the momentum that has kept them in full swing for the last eighteen months. In 2007, A Trophy Life set out on the road with a full-length album titled ‘This Is A Trophy Life’ , trekking across Western and Central Canada six times, as well as the Maritimes. Other highlights include a Western United States tour in early 2009, playing over 100 shows in their first year on the road, and selling over 1,500 records at shows alone. A Trophy Life has one thing to look forward to: This is what we’re going to remember our youth was like.

The way is clear, they have no choice;
“Four chords and heartbreak, This is all
we've ever known” Say the boys. This foursome has committed any financial or emotional sabotage necessary to allow them to live out what is on their hearts and minds in every moment they’re awake. Permanently on tour or at home in the clouds, A Trophy Life look eagerly forward to the tours, shows, and friends that are doomed to befall them. Their newest release, The 'Go On Tour.' EP, was released in the spring of 2009 supported by US and Canadian touring. Look for A Trophy Life in your hometown this spring, summer and fall.
