Bio

Attack of the 50ft woman is busy building their reputation as one of the most original up and coming acts hitting the scene at the moment. Their songs are known for their chunky guitar, powerfully driven bass and drum beats, tons of attitude with a feminine touch. They really know how to bring their highly alternative "chic sound" to town. All standing at nearly 6 foot each they are not just a pretty face......They know how to kick arse on stage! The band members are all sisters and say their strong vocal style has been inspired from a blues influenced upbringing as well as their appetite for some tasty old skool rock, punk and metal.
With their obvious passion for music, the three members are constantly impressing new audiences with their professionalism and are continuously adding to their rapidly building fan base. They wowed judges at the very prestigious "Queensland Rock Awards" end 2005, becoming top ten band and grand finalist in the competition against hundreds of entrants from throughout the state. The Band has also been the successful recipients of an arts development grant (RADF) for recording and promotion of their original work and are fast receiving sponsorship from many businesses that see the potential of the band. With the positve feedback they have recieved so far from the EP at pre release stage the support has keept coming in girls will soon be working on a film clip
Playing at countless venus and festivals and all age shows throughout S/E Queensland they are the chosen support act for many top bands with in in the Australian music scene. At the moment the girls have just completed their recording at Butterfly Effect's Modern Music Studio and working towards the release of their debut EP. They are looking forward to keeping fans updated with gigs and shows by the end of 2007 they hope to be, attacking the East Coast, to promote their EP and up and coming release of their film clip
