Bio

Qel Arnold :
The man behind the band, Q’el Arnold, has been featured with his prior band Infamous Soundz and is currently a member of the band Attitude. He has been playing the drums since the age of 7 totaling 22 years experience. His musical roots are in the church but have expanded and evolved to include everything from old school, jazz, easy listening, classical and hip hop – R&B. Even though he plays the drums primarily, he has the ability to play the trumpet and baritone as well. Q’el has played at a variety of venues across the U.S. from church, to concert venues, clubs and even private parties. His music is full of life, energy, and attitude. His personal flow is quiet, however his musical flow and vibe is electrifying, and full of his love for music and its impact on life.

Melanie DeVaughn:
The “Georgia Peach” with the big voice, Melanie DeVaughn’s is the lead vocalist for the band Attitude. Melanie DeVaughn’s love for music started developing from the age of five. Born and raised in the south, she has deep roots in the church where she was taught soul music, old spiritual hymns, and gospel melodies.

Some of the artists that she has performed with include Brian Wilson, Dottie Peoples, Jonathan Nelson, Stephen Hurd, and Kierra Sheard.

Jay McCall:
The little man behind the mic stand, Jay McCall has been featured with Men of Psalm as the lead vocalist and is currently a member of the band Attitude. Jay expanded and evolved musically as he grew up taking on everything from old school, jazz, pop, dance - club, classical and hip hop – R&B. Jay is also a soon to be published author of a novel as well as a lyricist and vocal arranger and can make a song out of any situation. Jay has sung at a variety of venues from the Midwest to the east coast including church conferences, clubs, private parties and graduation ceremonies. His songs are built on life, love, and God's anointing. His natural flow is reminiscent to your favorite uncle that you love to just hang with and kick it on a weekend; however his musical vibe is energized, bubbly and when need be downright smooth.

Colden White:
Colden White’s music career began after his 5th year of teaching music education, chorus and band for public and Fine Arts Schools of Miami , Florida from 1993-1998. The artists that he has performed with include Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Sherman Hemsley, Ladysmith Black MonBazo, John Pee Kee, Commission, Take 6, Kirk Franklin, Bobby Jones and many more professionals in the industry.

In the political world, Colden performed as a pianist for almost every event that Congresswoman Carrie P. Meek held from campaign meetings to victory parties. At the same time, Colden worked as the keyboard player with the Fabulous “B” Boyz Production of Miami , Fl. Between 1998 and 1999, Colden toured with East Coast Production/ Encore Performances of Atlanta, GA. He joined Sherrod Soundz in 2001 as a writer and session player.

George Daigle:
George is a native of Louisiana and loves all things music, from Rock to classic to jazz to gospel and little bit of country. George’s love for music and performing began at an early age. Since then George has performed onstage with performance juggernauts Patti Labelle, Andrae Crouch, Donnie McClurkin, and Vickie Winans. George has twice performed at the famed Apollo Theater in Harlem . George is also a seasoned thespian having performed in theater productions, “A Solider’s Play”, “Miss Ever’s Boys”, “T-Bone and Weasel” and “Legends”.

Now living in Atlanta , George is a much sought after voice over talent, assistant to the Editor in Chief of Tehillah Magazine, host of a syndicated television program, “Perfect Praise Gospel” and midday announcer for internet radio.
