Aubren Elaine

Since the day Aubren Elaine was born, she was constantly surrounded by music. Growing up inspired by timeless musicians such as Tony Bennett, Barbara Streisand and Natalie Cole, Aubren Elaine had her passion for music develop at an early age. The music her parents and grandparents listened to had an immense influence on her musical style today. Listening to her grandfather play bongos was her first experience with live music and she was always drawn to instruments wherever she went. By the age of three, Aubren Elaine began taking classical piano lessons, and although her piano instructor was hesitant on taking in a student that age, Aubren persisted that music is what she needed to do. Throughout her youth, Aubren stayed true to her music, learning how to compose, arrange, and eventually, write songs with lyrics. At the age of thirteen, Aubren Elaine traded her skateboard with a friend for his guitar, which quickly became the turning point in her musical journey. Aubren began writing contemporary songs and by the time she was fifteen, she was recording her demos at a professional recording studio in her hometown. Aubren Elaine continued to play local open mic nights and restaurants in town until she left for college to pursue a major in music production. Learning more about music production in college is where she began to develop her distinctive style. She discovered her sound through the support of one of her professors, who to this day cowrites, produces and arranges her music with her. Throughout college, Aubren uncovered her love for soulful, timeless classics as well as upbeat, groovy beats. Her love for soul, R&B and funk became the basis of her songwriting direction. Aubren Elaine combines her love for these genres through her own sound, while still staying true to a modern, pop flare.
