My Name is Ethan Yap, born January 21, 1991 and raised in Long Island New York. Music has been in my life since I was 3, when I began to teach myself how to play the piano. And although I have played for 15 years, when I was 11 I was introduced to audio production. I learned to mesh my piano skills with digital production to create a whole new horizon of music. Now I was a producer that not only made hip hop beats, but due to previous genre exposure, I managed to create songs of the Rock, R&B, Jazz, and Classical variety as well. Right before my sixteenth birthday I was signed to an independent label called V Belle Ent. under the name E~MeLO. My contract lasted for a year during which time I rose to the position of VP of Production and produced for two rap and one R&B artists. Being his long time friend as well, I was also the Hype-Man for one of the Rap artist and performed with him on various show and concert occasions. Near the end of my contract I enrolled and started classes at Full Sail University, which I am an Alum from their recording program. Here is where I took on the name AuD10 and managed to sharpen my skills beyond what I imagined prior to moving there. After leaving the school I migrated to Raleigh NC to live with my sister in November of 2009. This is my current city and it has brought on a whole new atmosphere of inspiration, that you will hear in all of its geological difference in my most recent releases. I am mainly influenced by change so the divisions in styles chronologically from New York to Raleigh help my listeners hear where I come from and begin imagining where I am going.
