Audiobloom are a five piece alternative/rock outfit from North Wales. Collectively influenced by artists such as Nick Drake, System of a down, Daft Punk, Skunk Anansie, Pop Will Eat Itself, Nine Inch Nails, John Martyn, Infected Mushroom and Queens of the Stone Age.
Neil does the main vocal and backing guitar. He's has played in a few bands before and is certainly the most overweight member. Hef plays the congas (they’re not bongos) & recently backing vocals as well. He’s played in various bands as a drummer and more recently played now & again with a very good covers band called Roofus & the odd open mic nights with Neil & others. Hef might be the eldest in the band but he defo has the best lamb chops. The winter fuel allowance and buss pass also comes in handy. Paul is the bassist. He's had experience in cover and original bands and played small pubs, big clubs and even the stage at Manchester's xmas lights celebration. His influences come from rchp, tool, faith no more and obscure blues & jazz artists. Paul also does for Audiobloom what Mark Owen does for Take That – as in looking pretty, not the tax evasion bit. Cooper is the drummer. He's played in a wide range of rock bands, metal bands, orchestral groups, jazz and blues arrangements in various venues. Has been described as “hitting them drums like a hungry polar bear that has just discovered a nest full of innocent baby seals”. He's been playing for over ten years and been out performing for 9 years. He takes inspiration from a variety of genres and artists ranging from bands like cream to Dream theatre to punk, ska, and hard dance music especially hardcore, hard house and gabba. Simon “The Optical Illusion” Edwards is the lead guitarist. He started playing when he was about 12-13, and has played with a few bands in the past. Some of his influences include, Incubus, Faith no more, Steve Vai, Frank Zappa. He used to go to Hogwarts, but had a bad experienced with Hagrid (following an appearance on TV show Hagrid’ll Fix It) so moved off magic and into awesome lead guitar. He’s kept his Owl.

We all auditioned individually for the XFactor and didn't get through, then Lois brought us back as asked if we'd be happy working together to form a Super-group. We were working hard on a cover of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up", but unfortunately our lead guitarist Simon got into a dodgy situation when a private video
starring "little Simon" and Tulisa got leaked to the British media. We were edited out of the shows and erased from history itself. Our nearest and dearest had their memories wiped and they didn't recall our existence so we were forced to live in a cave near a woodland in North Wales with nothing but our instruments, the Wah pedal Simon got for Christmas (haha), a caged owl and Little Simon's Video. Every cloud...
