Bio

Born and raised in Detroit, Audra decided to come to California to bring her dreams to life. She first expressed her fascination with music when she dressed up like Tina Turner for Halloween at 3 years old. She discovered her love for writing stories in the 1st grade, then writing her first song at the age of 9. At 14, she was introduced to a group of exceptionally talented young people called "Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit" in which she became a member. With Mosaic she performed in several plays including: "Crossing 8 Mile", "What Fools These Mortals Be", "Everybody's Talkin'", "Heartbeat". Audra has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, for former President Bill Clinton, and represented the United States at the World Festival of Childrens Theatre in Copenhagen, Denmark! In Mosaic, Audra quickly discovered and cultivated her talent for songwriting and wrote songs for several of their plays. Audra discovered that her love for music was more than just a hobby and that she wanted it to be her career so soon after she moved to Los Angeles!

Audra has been featured on several Jazz projects including: "The House of Urban Grooves" (aka T.H.U.G. Jazz), "Def Jazz" and No Time to Waste by Detroit Jazz artist Dee Brown. Her first solo project entitled "The Introduction" has been released and can be found on iTunes and Amazon.
