Bio

Audrey heard thirty was the new twenty, so she decided this was the year to release her debut album, Ain't No Grave. Now being asked for her root-bearing, life-filled songs, from Ireland to Italy to her stomping grounds of San Francisco, Audrey is entering the music scene with a bang...

After several demos, a move to LA, promised opportunities from several contacts in the industry, and numerous detours, she was finally ready to let it all go.

Audrey came back to her beloved Northern California and decided she would sing for nothing more than the joy of it (what a concept) and for charity (to make up for lost goodwill in LA). So, she joined a gospel rockabilly band, playing at prisons, halfway homes and churches. Ah, much better.

Feeling freed from it all, she began songwriting again. (The nerve!) Songwriting turned into jam sessions with friends turned into playing a few shows turned into everyone at every show asking where the album was turned into…Audrey's debut album. Produced by the band leader of the Bible Dusters (her beloved gospel rockabilly band), Chuck Prophet’s right-hand guitar man, Max Butler, the “record” as they love to call it, began it’s two year journey. From Friday night writing sessions to what you now hold in your hand (or ear), Ain’t No Grave is the collection of songs written, re-written or “borrowed” over the last five years of Audrey's life. And it is dedicated to three dear souls in her life who lost theirs during the making of the project. In her own words: "Needless to say, but I will: There ain’t no grave."

Ain’t No Grave is available on iTunes and at CDbaby.
