Deep inside my pocket, I found a ball of string. It tied around my fingertips, tangling everything. It wrapped around a girl one day, she played the violin, and with the boys on drums and bass, a melody we’d spin. And as that tiny ball of string was passed amongst our friends, we bound it round our secrets and tied it end to end. And soon we all were singing, in rhythm and in rhyme and with that little ball of string our hearts forever bind.
