It was awesome to have aunumae with us at Mission Young Adult Church on Tuesday, December 9th for the final installment of our 2008 Concert
Series! They kicked it off with a powerful rendition of Matt Redman's
"Blessed be Your Name" and then moved into their original material. They
rightly describe themselves as passionate hard rock worship...which I
like a lot. Loud drums, distorted guitars, deep bass, and Auna's soaring
vocals pulled me in from the start. Standouts in the set were "Maybe"
(their amazingly catchy ballad about how we come to the Lord), "Beyond The Words" (what I think will be their first radio hit), and "Don’t Invade" (a
strong and faith filled declaration expelling lies and upholding truth).
All in all, it was an action packed night filled with lots of rocking,
jamming, and most importantly...worship!
