Aunt Jamamas Big Band Vigilantes

BandJazzAvant-garde

Aunt Jamamas Big Band Vigilantes is a free form improvisational sound experience. Commonly described as acid clown jazz, our music ranges from funk to jazz to trip hop all the way to industrial.

Biography

Aunt Jamamas Big Band Vigilantes started in 2004 and has been thrilling Seattle audiences with their high energy audio visual stage performances ever since including a 1 hour special performance for KEXP’s Sonarchy program. Their music reflects their disparate musical backgrounds and interests with hints of darkwave industrial, jazz, funk, classical and rock permeating each song. Their name is as unique as their sound. They are truly vigilantes, unclassifiable and protecting the masses from pop culture.
