"Aunty E Rocks the Dallas Arboretum"

March 16, 2007- on the brink of what could have been a rainy day in Dallas, the sun was shining high and the crowds gathered by the masses at the Dallas Arboretum for the annual Spring Blooms Flower Power concert series. Performing artists, Aunty E & Joe McDermott drew huge crowds as fans gathered for an afternoon filled with wonderful children’s music, crafts, and face-painting.

Up-and-coming star, Aunty E rocked the house with her catchy songs, “Sunny Day” and “Mooey Moo.” Additional parking had to be made for late arriving guests who were shuttled to the event as the line of cars stacked up.

Aunty E offers families a refreshing alternative to traditional children’s music by connecting parents and children through adventurous stories weaved into lively beats from across the globe. As an illustrated character with a crew of fun friends from Harmony, Aunty E creates exciting experiences that are normally only possible on television. These experiences are transformed to the stage when Aunty E performs her live concerts.

Aunty E performed two sets, both drawing crowds of people up to the stage for a closer listen. About one minute into her first song, the kids started coming by the masses. By the end of her first song, “Upsy Daisy,” she had about 75 kids up on stage singing and dancing along. There were several group hugs that had her manager, Chas Vergauwen, worried. “I thought she was going to fall over at one point,” exclaimed Vergauwen. Autographs were given out after each performance to eager kids waiting to have their brand new CD signed by Aunty E!

Aunty E’s signature album, “Rockstar Princess is now available at http://www.AuntyE.com. With its combination of adventurous stories and lively beats, this full-length album is sure to bring exciting experiences into the lives of families everywhere. "Jam Session"

A new children's album, "Rockstar Princess" from Aunty E, comes out of Austin, Texas, the self-proclaimed live music capital of the world. Aunty E is an illustrated character who hails from the land of harmony and sings with friends Prissy Sissy, Smiley Sam and pals about her adventures. (Texan Erin Duvall is Aunty E's real-life counterpart.) Aunty E's repertoire is like Britney (before the head-shaving) and Donny and Marie all rolled into one: some peppy pop, a little bit country and a little bit rock ‘n’ roll.

"It's Dance Time"

Will (my 2 year-old) digs everything electronic- Dad's Blackberry, the TV remote. He's mastered playing music on a portable CD player so when deems it's time to get up and get moving, he plinks in a CD of his choice and we "Dance Mommy and Daddy! Dance!" Last week i met with Austin, TX- based singer/songwriter Aunty E to talk about her CD Rockstar Princess. Sounds kinda girly I said. "Take it home and take a listen!" she said. Well, Will is the music arbiter in our house so I'd see what he thought. He put it in that night and -WOW- we've been rockin' out ever since! The first song (Rockstar Princess) has this totally peppy intro (doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo)... oh, take a listen here. Her music is jazzy, country western-ish, pop-y and just all around toe-tapping fun. I even downloaded the lyrics so i could sing along. Will loves it. Mom and Dad love it. Too girly? No way! We love getting up and dancing! Thank you Aunty E! - Goodyblog by Parents Magazine

"Aunty E makes appearance on Mix 94.7"

Erin Duvall (aka Aunty E) jumps on the radio!

Completely random morning. We sent Digitz out on the street and asked him to find us a sidekick for the day within an hour. He went to Pure Austin gym, walked up to the treadmills and found Erin Duvall. She came straight up to the studio. Turns out she has an altered ego as AuntyE, a children's song singer and performer around town.
She was a natural and a lot of fun on the radio. We hope to bring her back on the air soon. - Mix 94.7

Bio

These days, kids' calendars are almost as cluttered as those of the adults around them. In 2006 Aunty E arrived on the scene with rockin' family-style entertainment for all ages.
The groovy, fun-loving role model aims to break through the clutter and educate children with a world of fun and adventure that kids discover by introducing them to new characters, instruments and styles of music. Aunty E creates a sound and scene that brings families together by appealing to parents and children through wonder-filled lyrics and variations of peppy pop, soulful blues and jazz, and kickin country and bluegrass.

"There was a time, decades ago, when families got together to eat and even host sing-alongs around the piano at night," says Erin Duvall, Aunty E's alter ego. "We make music to help bring families back together for some good 'ol family fun."

Aunty E travels between her magical animated land of Harmony where she lives with her crew of amazing friends like Freddy the Frog and Smiley Sam, and the real world where she brings her music to life for families across the country. As an illustrated character, through adventurous stories told in song on her album, Aunty E connects with kids as she paints pictures of their dreams today and the possibilities that lie in their future tomorrow. Then, with her magic mic in hand and special travelin' shoes on, everybody's favorite Aunt "takes five" from her animated world and transforms into a real world rock star for groovy live performances for all her Nieces & Nephews.

The Austin-based Rockstar Princess debuted with a limited edition 4-track EP "Aunty E & Friends, A Whole Lot of Fun" in October, 2006, and has rocked out with live concerts and appearances across major metropolitan areas of Texas; all the while her tunes play on radio stations nationwide. For her second act, Aunty E teamed up with Grammy Award winning musicians to produce the March 2007 full length signature album release, "Rockstar Princess."

Aunty E music is available at over 2,400 CD stores worldwide, including Waterloo Records in Austin, TX where sales have exceeded expectations.
