au revoir simone started getting together in the fall of 2003 in erika's bedroom to play sinister pop covers on a collection of tiny keyboards. they soon upgraded to bigger instruments, a practice space, original songs and playing shows in some of NYC's best venues. their first few recordings became instant underground hits amongst bloggers and the indie music community in NY and abroad.
