Biography

18 year old Albany, NY native Aurora Pfeiffer has been an active singer/songwriter from a young age, having written over 60 songs, 33 of which are officially copyrighted, as well as collaborating on both producing and songwriting with several record labels. She sings and accompanies herself on piano in all of her songs, but is also well-versed in guitar.
For the past 2 years Aurora has been performing locally in the Albany malls, Borders bookstores, cafes, and numerous benefit concerts for charity organizations.
Besides this, she has generated a great deal of attention through her efforts in the CosmoGIRL! Magazine's 2006 National Singer/Songwriter Contest where her song "Just A Phase" finished within the top ten of one thousand other songwriters. This year, her song "Barely There" was also a highlighted feature of the contest, again securing a place within the top ten.
Most notably, she has performed at Maryland's "Springfest2007," sharing the stage with national recording artists Monet and Nu-Tren, and her song "Just A Phase" is featured on the Shine in the Music series compilation cds. This past spring she opened for the MyPop8tour, which toured throughout the entire United States, and just recently she celebrated her cd's release with a very successful Album Release Party and Performance in Albany's "At The Warehouse."

Set List

I am an original act with over 60 songs written and 33 songs officially copyrighted.
If performing with my keyboard/and or band I can do up to a 2 hour set. If I am performing with background tracks then a typical set is 45 minutes to an hour. Although I mainly perform originals, if a longer set was necessary, I would incorporate several covers.
