Austin became the focus of considerable attention this year as the opening act for Christina Aguilera on her 50 city U.S. tour. Austin has also received much appraise since this past year for his Grammy nomination for ‘In my Bed’, Austin’s most intimate and personal album to date. Austin just wrapped his monumental video shoot for “it hurts like this” off of the forthcoming album ‘Bionic’. The video production was a 35-day shoot and took place entirely under water.
Austin a southern Californian native, was born in Chino California where he says he grew up with a microphone in one hand and a hair curling iron in the other. “I always knew I wanted to do something in music, I just wasn’t sure what” (Austin, 05/25/1999, Radio City Music Hall)
Austin continues to impress crowds with his stage performances and vocal range. His recent achievements in music video concept and production have led him to be the executive producer of Christina Aguilera’s next video shoot.
