Party Tonight

Written By: Austin Atteberry

Party Tonight

I popped the top on a Corona bottle and I drank to five o’clock somewhere near,
Monday could be a world away cause I am unemployed as of today,

So I kick back, relax, I wonder what could be comin’ next,
I said I kick back, relax, I wonder what’s rollin’ down them tracks….
I hear a, I hear a,

A party tonight, I wanna make some drinks and maybe wake up right next to the,
The party tonight, so you stick with em and you just might, party-
Tonight

The boss man said Austin my friend, you’re gonna get fired so show up on time,
This gig just ain’t been my bag so I tell the man I’ll be right back,

And I kick back, relax, I wonder what could be comin’ next,
I said I kick back, relax, I wonder what’s rollin’ down them tracks….
I hear a, I hear a,

A party tonight, I want to keep on dancin’ til the break of daylight, and then
Party tonight, to pick a fight and not remember why,
Party tonight, I want to play the fool with my cool pick up lines and then
Party tonight, so you stick with me and you just might-

Party tonight- na na na na na na

I may be out of a job I may here on the street but that’s alright with me,
Because the people passin’ me I can’t but help but wondering, do they know, I said do, do they know, how to

Party tonight, can they swig a beer and make love at the same time,
Party tonight, can they throw a dart at the wall and hit the bullseye,
Party tonight, so you stick with me and you just might, Pa pa pa pa pa
You just might, pa pa pa pa pa,
You just might, Party tonight.

Letter of Three Words

Written By: Austin Atteberry

Letter of Three Words

This here’s a letter from my better half,
I’m gonna leave it in your hands,

You can read it if you want,
For whatever it’s worth,

It’s just a letter but it’s all yours.

Every word is gold,
Because there’s nothing in the whole world so pure,
As them three little words that you’ve never heard
Whispered from my heart to yours.

It’s just a letter of three words,
It’s just a letter of three words.

Some write an opera, some they just write a book.
For me it’s a letter of three words,

Because how could anything describe,
An angel from the skies.

It’s just a letter but it’s all mine.

Every word is gold,
Because there’s nothing in the whole world so pure,
As them three little words that you’ve never heard
Whispered from my heart to yours.

It’s just a letter of three words,
It’s just a letter of three words.

Clothes Minded Folk

Written By: Austin Atteberry

Clothes Minded Folk

I know somedays I walk naked through the streets,
With half a bottle of broken dreams and half a body worn at the seams.

Walk can I say I’m just half naked somedays.

I’m gonna stand out,
On the boardwalk,
In front of all those,
Clothes minded folk.

Some folks I hear them sayin’ he must be crazy up on the stage,
Who we are is where we’ve so here I am playin’ again.

What can I say I’m just half naked somedays.

I’m gonna stand out,
On the boardwalk,
In front of all those,

Clothes minded folk.
Where are my clothes,
Clothes minded folk,
Where are they?
Clothes minded folk.
Where are my clothes,
Clothes minded folk,
Where are they?

You must think I’m crazy,
Do you think I’m blind,
I don’t want your money,
I just want your time.

Here I sit with the band and one by one we’re all skins,
Who we are is where we’ve been so we thank you all for listenin’.

Fish On

Written By: Austin Atteberry

Fish On

I spend my days down by the lake,
Because it’s what gets me through the week.
Just rippin’ lips and tellin’ lies, I got one hand on the bud and the other’s right there as I
scream looky there, leanin’ back with my rod in the air, I scream

Fish on, reel her in, this here’s a perfect ten
Fish on, take her home, that’s right,
The deal is done, fish on,
The deal is done, fish on.

Well I’m a drinkin’ man you see.
Because it’s what gets me through the week.
I’m just kickin’ back on a cool six pack, with a little luck I’ll be headin’ back with a
pretty girl who’s into me.

She’ll say I’ve been eyein’ you from across the room,
So won’t you take me home cowboy, this cowgirl wants you, I scream

Fish on, reel her in, this here’s a perfect ten
Fish on, take her home, that’s right,
The deal is done, fish on,
The deal is done, fish on.

I usually wake up to the sound of a closin’ door,
Then it’s boy you passed out and I say no baby I was just huggin’ the floor.
My mam a says I’ll never wed, I said mama don’t you know I’m still married to my first
wife.
She’s tall dark and thin and I can always reel her in.

Fish on, reel her in, this here’s a perfect ten
Fish on, take her home, that’s right,
The deal is done, fish on,
The deal is done, fish on.

Why Did it Have to Rain

Written By: Austin Atteberry

Why Did It Have To Rain

There’s a storm rollin’ in,
I can feel it on the wind my friend,
Because she’s comin’ back today,
Probably for the last time I’ll see her again.

Why did it have to rain today,
Why did the clouds decide to be grey,
Why did it have to rain today,
Without her to share it with.

I am who I am,
I have a dream and I follow it,
But I don’t understand,
Why she can’t be a part of it.

Why did it have to rain today,
Why did the clouds decide to be grey,
Why did it have to rain today,
Without her to share it with.

She’s gone, she’s gone,
She’s gone, she’s gone.

So go on girl, so long.
I’ll probably never finish writin’ this song,
Because you’ll be back someday.
To see the sun shinin’ on my face.

Why did it have to rain today,
Why did the clouds decide to be grey,
Why did it have to rain today,
Without her to share it with.

Goodnight, Goodnight

Written By: Austin Atteberry

Goodnight, Goodnight

Goodnight, goodnight sleep tight,
I’ll be right here by your side.
Watchin’ your every breath,
And thankin’ God for all I have.

Sleep well, with the angels,
And don’t let them bed bugs bight.
I said I love you forever,
And every word you know I meant.

Goodnight, goodnight my sweet angel,
I’ll be asleepin’ sometime soon.
Cause in your arms I find my heaven,
In words we share before we close,
Until we meet the morn.
Goodnight, goodnight.
Goodnight, goodnight.

Goodnight, goodnight stars bright,
I’ll be right here in your light.
Wishin’ upon one of you,
That all my dreams will come true.

To be right here by her side with every day and every night.
Because in her arms I find myself with everything I could want.

Goodnight, goodnight my sweet angel,
I’ll be asleepin’ sometime soon.
Cause in your arms I find my heaven,
In words we share before we close,
Until we meet the morn.
I said I love you more than the world,
So now go to sleep my baby girl,
Goodnight, goodnight.
Goodnight, goodnight.
