Bio
Austin Holcomb's richly arranged and melancholy songs, recall singer/songwriters of the late '60s and '70s. The contagious melodies stick in your head and the subtle, organic feel is a reminder that less is always more. His music is relatable and honest.
Austin was a vocalist & bassist in the Memphis-based pop punk band Faker from 2001-2003
In 2005, he moved to Bozeman, MT to begin work on a solo project. After spending 6 months writing songs for the album, he decided to abandon the album and move back to Memphis. Upon his return, he began rehearsals with the musicians that would eventually become The Olde West.
The band self-released their debut album, The Olde West, in 2010.
From 2013-2015, he was a guitarist in The Sultana. After brief touring to promote the album Gar, Austin left the band to begin work on his own EP Wistful Thinking, due in the fall of 2017.
