Lyrics

Small town girl

Written By: Austin Jenckes

She came out of a little town
Boy that smile could shake a room without a sound
She believes in a faith that
Most people loose in the second grade
She's never gonna come back around

At night when she lies in her room
She thinks of all the things that she once knew
She says I know that I have not changed
But I can't believe that I'm still the same

Small town girl

Her daddy left long ago
She was only twelve years old
Not another night goes by where she breaks down and cries, Daddy where you been? You don't even know how hard it is...

Oh please baby don't cry
I know it must have been hard but you've got to try
I know that I have not been there, but you've been with me through all of these years

That Small town girl, she's a small town girl...

She came out of a little town
Boy that smile could shake a room without a sound
She believes in a faith that
Most people loose in the second grade
I'm hoping maybe someday she will come back around
