Welcome to the world of AU$TIN MARTIN, the artist and man who loves his city so much he made it his name. When people first hear the iconic AU$TIN MARTIN sound they instantly think "Mainstream". Not, as in it sounds like it is mainstream, but in that it should be.
Born and raised in Austin, TX has made him no stranger to writing, producing, recording, and performing for and with some of todays biggest touring acts. AU$TIN has been signed under many different record label deals as a writer and producer, on and off for several years. He has, for the time being, decided to remain self published and self distributed to maintain his artistic and professional freedoms.
AU$TIN MARTIN is much more than an just an artist, he is a brand. Before his current namesake he built and established a worldwide fanbase of loyal supporters and followers. Signing his 1st major record deal with Def Jams Senior A&R Max Gousse in early 2010-2011, his music and reach has become global. Before his current title and brand came about, he went by his artist name O.C. and after the terms of his last contract were fulfilled, Austin Music Entertainment was launched for his self publication strategy. Along with this new company, came his new name, AU$TIN MARTIN. "Its the city where I was born and raised, it's the place that motivates me to collectively create, and give back to the people with my music. Now everywhere I go when people speak my name the city goes with me and reaches out for the recognition of its own greatness through my art."
His music is great but his live performance is an experience in and of itself. Harnessing the energy of his crowd and feeding it back to them one overly amp'd verse at a time; crowds are lifting their heads and hands; cheering for his city all over the world, and his movement is building. With the fuel of #TEAMAU$TIN on the rise; he has his sights set on becoming the greatest show on Earth.
AU$TIN is currently partnered with up and coming management powerhouse IBDTMC and is poised to become the next breakout global phenomenon emerging from the world of hip hop.
His ability to write, record and produce his own records has set him apart from the heard and currently he is touring in the US to promote his self titled EP "I Am AU$TIN MARTIN" which is set for release early Spring of 2014.
