The Austin Young Band, a Colorado based Blues/Rock band exudes unbelievable passion and displays electrifying musicianship in each performance. Lead by young guitar professional, 18 year old, Austin Lee Young, they perform locally and nationally in established music clubs, numerous music festivals, private functions and special events. Their inspirations run the gauntlet of the Blues from historical giants such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf to contemporary masters like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Derek Trucks, and Joe Bonamasa.Although you would expect a young artist to rely heavily on an array of music covers, Austin has self produced two albums to date and performs much of his original material at live shows. His stage presence can rival the most seasoned of performers. Recently signing with Vizztone Record Label group, Austin and band are excited to be a part of lending youthful energy and spirit to the roots blending (and guitar bending) sounds that are a part of "keeping the blues alive"!
