Bio
Auto De Fe make thoughtful, impassioned and often frantic progressive rock. Formed a year ago after the dispansion of Hampshire based heavy rock act Sub Rosa, Auto De Fe have recently completed their debut EP ‘Appomattox’. Combining moments of glacial atmospherics with pounding tribal rhythms, head-scratching grooves and melodic vocals Auto De Fe are a willfully difficult band to pin down; although comparisons have been made to the likes of Tool, The Mars Volta, Radiohead, Bjork, King Crimson, Oceansize, Jeff Buckley and Aphex Twin.
