AutoFocus

The band Autofocus was formed like many other bands today, 5 musicians got together to play music...yet these guys from Tallahassee had a common goal and found they had bigger dreams than just playing gigs at local bars. After previous experience in the Tallahassee rock scene, Guitarist Mark Ingram joined by bassist Reed Odeneal ventured out and sought to form a new band, with a new sound. Soon after Marks departure from his previous band, the two friends went online and put ads in the paper to find other local musicians. They soon put their faith in frontman Andre Gerard, an undiscovered talent. Soon to follow was Reed's old highschool friend, lead Guitarist Jeff Peck, but the search for a drummer still continued. After many replies, and fading hope of filling the crucial spot in the band, Caglar Sengil(Turkish born and raised), seemed to fit the bill. After many months of songwriting and rehearersing , the band AutoFocus was formed. With a sound compared to no other, this quintet began to build a following from one gig to the next. Currently, the group is working on the recording of their 5 song EP due in the spring.
