Automatic Cycle

Automatic Cycle hit the scene in the late summer of '08 and has quickly started stirring up a local Austin fan base due to their unique Alternative Rock flavor and interesting mix of some amazing talent. Leading the band is long time singer song writer Jeremy Burge, who was born and raised a local Texan and grew up on good 'ol southern rock. Jeremy brings a down to earth rock and roll feel to all the songs and backs them up with an amazing array of vocal feats which range from angelic highs to ground breaking lows. Backing him up with some spit-fire energy on stage is a lively bassist named Tweak, who's no stranger to the live experience and loves to crowd please with on-stage aerobics flowing with the rhythm of the music. Tweak often shows his energy in how he plays as well, he's lightening quick on stage and on the fret board. Pedro D.C., the drummer and keeper of the beats, is there to amaze and astound even the most lackluster of crowds. From his incredible tribal tom work to a speedy high-hat frenzy, his rolls and solos leave you in a state of smirking shock as you realize that, yes, even the drums can pull you in and make you want to get up and dance. Finishing up the sound that is A.C. is a crazy brother duo, EJay and DJ Saint and of them both know how to make the ladies move, from EJay's entrancing guitar solos to DJ Saints encompassing turntable scratching, these two are a force not to be messed with. They bring a unique sound and harmony to A.C. that cannot be described by words alone.
A.C. has been playing anywhere and everywhere that has offered to host them from day one, from classic Austin starters like Red Eyed Fly to famous 6th street venues like Momo's,Headhunters,Dirty Dog,Trophy's and The Armadillo Hall.The band also played a closing SXSW show at Austin Bergstrom International Airport in March 2010. AC is Austin rock music. These boys live for music and it shows.
