El Staff de GNT JOVEN se reunió con esta banda en un local en Las Mercedes, donde estaban haciendo un toque para recaudar fondos para una buena causa.
Esta banda está tocando desde 2005, su música es del género Rock & Roll con distintas influencias, se puede decir que es un hibrido entre la música electrónica y el rock & roll.
Ellos quisieron dar un mensaje a los jóvenes diciéndoles que "deben hacer lo que les guste, lo que les apasione, sin importar lo que piense la gente"

As longtime friends who first met randomly while in high school on the outskirts of Caracas, Automatik rose to the pinnacle of the rock scene in 2005. The band was put on hiatus to engage different projects, and was brought back to life in early 2008. Alejandro and Javier had previously worked together on the award winning local band Venas de Mercurio from 1995 to 1998. Venas de Mercurio was an acclaimed band who participated and won the Intercolegial de la Fundacion Nuevas Bandas in 1995 and the James Douglas Morrison Festival in 1998. Venas de Mercurio also participated as a guest headliner band in 1998’s Festival Nuevas Bandas. Joining Automatik on the drums is Jorge, who’s playing complemented and lifted the bands’ sound making it more classic. The band's debut songs blends Alejandro Barbella's howling vocal work with insane guitars and piercing sequence programming to generate an album highlighting rock and electronica at its finest.
