SATURDAY FEATURED A 2 BAND NITE WITH AUTOTOXIN OPENING FOR SKYWYND,HOLY SHEEP S**T BATMAN.I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THE SHOWS I WAS IN FOR.NOR WAS I PREPARED TO BE THE OLDEST PERSON IN THE BAR.
AUTOTOXIN WAS INCREDIBLE !!!!!!!!
THEY ONLY PLAYED FOR AN HOUR BUT HAD THE DANCE FLOOR FULL OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY,MOST OF WHICH STAYED TILL CLOSING.THEY HAD FLYERS PASTED ALL OVER ST FRANCIS AND THEY BROUGHT THE PEOPLE.THIS EXTRA EFFORT PUT A FEW FEATHERS INTO THEIR CAP.THESE GUYS/GAL HAD THE ENERGY OF SEASONED ROCK STARS WITHOUT THE ATTITUDE.REALLY NICE BUNCH OF KIDS,AND THEIR FEMALE DRUMMER (JODI) EVEN SIGNED ONE OF THEIR POSTERS TO MY 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHO ALSO PLAYS DRUMS.ONE OF THEIR SONGS IS TITLED OUT OF CONTROL AND IT PRETTY MUCH SUMS UP THEIR PERFORMANCE AS WELL AS BEING AN AWESOME SONG.THEIR SINGER USED ONE OF THE SPEAKER STACKS AS A PLATFORM TO SING FROM AND THE CROWD WENT WILD.ALL OF THESE KIDS STUCK AROUND TO CATCH THE SKYWYND SHOW AND ONE OF THE GUYS EVEN ASKED ME FOR MY OPINION RIGHT AFTER THEIR SHOW.I TOLD HIM THE SAME THING I AM TELLING YOU--I AM IMPRESSED !!!!!!
AUTOTOXIN IS WELCOME BACK TO OPEN FOR ANY BAND I NEED AN OPENER FOR AND WHEN THEY HAVE A FULL 3 HOUR SETLIST THEY CAN BE MY NEW HEADLINING ACT.
GREAT MUSIC AND AWESOME KIDS-- I AM STILL VERY IMPRESSED !!!!!!!

Autotoxin was formed out of high school after much support of friends and family. The band started with Ryan and Tony Kelly. After many line up changes, Autotoxin has put together the greatest collection of musician from around the twin cities. Reaching out across the twin cities Ryan and Tony Then not even knowing it, they found their drummer Jodi Detomaso right down the road. Jodi had grown up right down the street from Ryan and Tony, and now after 21 years have come together to form the band. Not to long after Jodi was found Jamie Huff appeared out of no where, thus finding the last member of Autotoxin.
Autotoxin has spent the last year playing around the twin cities. Known for their "pure rock" sound, Autotoxin is striving to bring back the crowd for local music in Minnesota. There are too many bands that go unnoticed and forgotten, Autotoxin will not be one of these bands. National or local success this band makes you know they were there. If there was one sentence that could sum up all that is Autotoxin it would be from the song "In the Crowd" remember if you come to a show you will hear this ever present anthem "Get in the crowd, and get the fuck down!"
