Fueled by the energy of driving modern rock, coupled with the upbeat sounds of electronica and soulful vocal styling; AUTOVIOLET is the next step forward in musical evolution. This dynamic, female-fronted, four-piece group fuses their high-energy performance with unique character and intensity. Complemented with engaging projection screen visuals, AUTOVIOLET has created a fresh, innovative performance, which has captivated audiences everywhere. Since it’s inception in 2003, AUTOVIOLET has successfully blended the diverse tastes and talents of its members to become the exciting new sound in the local and international music scene.
Influences include: Garbage, The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Pantera, Stone Temple Pilots, Led Zepplin, Radiohead, James Brown and Aretha Franklin.
Autoviolet rises above it's competition with, first and foremost, great songwriting. Drawing from multiple genres and four talented songwriters who equally share in the writing process, no song is a carbon copy of any other. Coupled with electronica beats and samples that provide intricate layers to every song, Autoviolet has carved itself a unique sound style which is second to none.
Paired with their great songwriting is Autoviolet's high-energy performance. Led by Amy Arsenault's charismatic presence up front, and her experience in choreographed dance ensures audiences have difficulty looking away. It's a true 'Rock Show' delivered with every gig.
To top it all off is Autoviolet's synchronized projection screen visuals. Every song has a unique visual show that provides the backdrop to the band throughout their performance. Thru technology, the visuals are synchronized with the songs as they are played. The visual impact is breathtaking as the audience is delievered a stadium sized show in a small club venue.
