Bio

Based in Phoenix Arizona Autumn’s End was formed in late 2002 by former N17/ Rorschach Test guitarist Chris Cannella. He had become disillusioned with the direction of his previous projects. Chris wanted to write monster riffs not stale formulaic radio hooks. He wanted to solo and have diverse vocals. He needed to “get back to the metal” so he severed all ties and started from scratch. Locked away in solitude, Chris wrote what would later become the much sought after “Five cycles of Discipline” e.p. He then assembled the band that would all share in his unique metal vision.

Chris called upon long time friends Anthony DeJesus (rhythm guitar) and Chris El (bass). and local legend Joey Kamka. With their lineup solidified they set out to claim Phoenix’s vacant metal crown. They practiced relentlessly to perfect a live show that would raise the bar and prove to national acts that the Valley’s bands could hold their own.

Live, Autumn’s End is an unstoppable juggernaut! A definite force. The emotion they emit is palpable. Once they have left the stage you know that they meant every second of it. This kind of Jaw dropping performance is what landed them a spot on the Tempe Music Fest after only their first show on word of mouth alone. After which they earned opening slots for national acts: Arch Enemy, Hate Eternal, Black Dahlia Murder, Body Count, and Danzig. Thier talent, sonwriting, and band comradrie have also locked them with multiiple nationwide endorsements with Jackson guitars, Mesa Boogie, DR strings, dunlop, and A&S cases, as well as exclusive deals with Tama, Sabian, and Ampeg.

Autumn’s End brings all who will listen into the eye of the storm. Crushing riffs, thundering rhythms, and tortured vocals combined with lush acoustics and epic melodies creating a churning vortex of sound and fury. They walk a fine line between martyr and heretic and will leave you to decide if you are bearing witness to your salvation or the apocalypse.
