"I made a phone call at 2:30 a.m. last night to Andy from Autumn Thieves. I had just heard the demo for the first time and needed to talk to him. See the thing is I had doubts, I had heard Courtney sing accapella versions of Hole classics during late night bar stints and Andy play in other projects but this hit me like a ton of bricks. I felt like I was holding in my hand some long lost early Factory Records recording. Hints of Joy Division, New Order and Spiritualized were all there but they had made this something truly their own. Andy, are you sleeping? No? Andy it’s good. It is really good.
