Bio

A band using every available channel and voice to carry its music to the ends of the earth. Music that builds up, encourages, brings light to dark places, and is an example of hope and love.
A band with big sound and a modern rock foundation, its music rings out like its taking over vast swaths of land, driving, joyful, yet having intimate moments also.
The band takes its name from the word “auxiliary”, which describes something that is “providing supplementary or additional help and support”.
A/U/X is made of members, Mike Klemm as lead vocalist/guitarist, David Boyce as lead guitarist/keyboards/backing vocals, Jason Clark on bass, and Taylor Ashley on drums.
“We've discovered that creating music is a God given grace. Some people are natural athletes, some are naturally amazing with painting or drawing. We've been given the gift of music and are just beginning to tap into the depth of it. It’s an exciting time seeing so much new material constantly flowing out. The real challenge is focusing on just one piece and developing it while the rest is "on deck" awaiting its turn. What we love about it is operating in what we are meant to do with our lives,” said lead singer, Mike Klemm.
On July 31, 2013, A/U/X released its debut EP entitled, "Types and Shadows", which is currently available as a download with every digital music distributor, including iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon MP3, and streaming on Spotify and PureVolume. CDs will be available for purchase at live shows and on the band’s web store on Amazon.com.
“Lyrically, in this first album, the messages speak of love and overcoming fear at a very basic level. Yet the name of the album "Types and Shadows" hints that there are shadows of deeper meaning that are below the surface for those that care to dig for them,” said Mike Klemm.
