Bio
AVATAR is now up to date with their third and self titled album. They have developed a new more mature and melodic sound on this album, mixed by Tobias Lindell (Europe). Avatar released their debut album Thoughts of no tomorrow in 2006 when they were just eighteen years old. The debut album was released in Europe and entered top three on the metal album chart back home in Sweden.
The second album Schlacht was released in 2007 and the big break came the same year when Avatar was picked by In Flames to support them on their sold out Scandinavian tour. Since then they have also supported Megadeth, Stone Sour and Obituary. Avatar recently toured with Hardcore Superstar in Europe and more European tours are planned in the winter and spring of 2010. This album is for sure one of the most interesting metal releases in 2010
