Bio

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE is truly a well seasoned 4 PIECE ENERGETIC INDIE POP ROCK group from Southeastern Wisconsin. This band has been together since 2007 and has already played regular rotations at venues, events and festivals. Avengers Assemble has played with groups including The Gufs, Tonic, The Guess Who, and more.

Each member has an endless list of successful experience including touring 15+ states from the top of MI to MS, playing top notch venues and theaters, playing 100+ Midwest area festivals and events many times (Summerfest, Taste of Madison, etc), all forms of media exposure from major market radio and TV (Jenny Jones, etc) to college radio and so much more. Each member has performed many genres including funk/rock/reggae, jazz, acoustic folk, glam metal, punk, to Latin, to Wisconsin market cover bands and more. "Regional legendary" groups have included The Pipe Circus, Lisa G and Montage members, and the Spanglish Band members.

Pat J. Peterson is the lead vocalists, guitarist, and songwriter who was recently voted as one of the top four guitarists on Madison Magazine. He's formed and fronted a "regional legendary" funk/rock/reggae group called The Pipe Circus, which has experienced a major percentage of the experience list above. Pat's song writing has had national contest honors. His vocal style has been compared to Bradley Nowell, Sting, Daryl Hall, and more. His performance is passionate, sweat drenching, and theatrical. He also has a solo act that has played at venues including BLU at the legendary Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee and festivals opening up for bands including The Beach Boys. He's considered the top private guitar instructor in his area and has an agency called Innabeat Music & Entertainment.

Jason Petitt is the "back bone" bassist and backing vocalist of Avengers Assemble. He's part of the aforementioned band as well, The Pipe Circus (funk/rock/reggae). He's dropped jaws of some of the most well known bassists in the Midwest area. His effortless slap techniques, meticulously tight grooves, creatively melodic pulses and passion hook lines have made many compare him to artists including Flea, Les Claypool, Victor Wooten and yes, Stanley Clarke. He performs an acoustic act, is a Madison area music instructor, runs sound, and is a studio tech as well.

Chris Mell is the drummer of Avengers Assemble. He was the strong force of the "regional legendary" group, Lisa G and Montage. He's recorded, educated, and performed every genre including country, jazz, pop metal, reggae, Latin, and marching recitals. He's drum rolled for the appearance of Tommy Thomson and he even plays with a top notch area wedding band, The North Coast orchestra. He plays with heart filled passion, can stomp four on the floor, and can play microscopic details on a high hat during a straight groove. You can strip the Avengers Assemble songs clean and be moved with his beats alone.

Lyle Raymond is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of Avengers Assemble. His breath taking technique can be compared to his diverse influences including Pat Metheny, Dimebag Darrel, and more. His golden vein of talent has taken him through classical and jazz music education. His musical strength is always inspiring to audiences as they watch his fret board glisten with rich tone phrasing and energetic fret board sparks. The group members can all refer him to as the new guy, but those who see us will only see Avengers Assemble! It's all for you!!!
