Formed on the Central Avenue of San Jose, Costa Rica.
Avenida blues makes its way in playing in the urban areas of Costa Rica playing Americana roots music which is unusual in the country.
Playing in several streets and avenues, parks and even local buses.
From local clubs to Major Festivals.
The project starts to growth when street music is forbidden by costa rican laws, fighting to protect free of speech, cultural and artistic expressions.
Looking to keep the traditional spirit of the busking artists and keeping alive the traditional sound of Blues, Country, Bluegrass and even Traditional Jazz.
Avenida Blues keeps alive a repertoire with even more than 100 years of history, helping to make known the importance of old timey music and americana roots on popular music on Central America.
Also bringing fresh and original material.
