"Review"

"Four heartily harmonizing teen-girl siblings from central Pennsylvania, Dominique, Olivia, Jillian and Gabriela do a surprisingly clear, catchy, and far from ascetic take on wide-open-spaces ready-to-run pop-country on both last year's demo EP and their new self-released album. 'Healing the world one song at a time,' their website says, 'they write songs that encourage good values and positive messages.' Non-secular? You decide."

"Concert Preview"

"The Little Women Band has many people buzzing that they’re the industry’s “next big thing”, in large part because of their rare ability to captivate NYC audiences with music that includes country as an influence. The band consists of four sisters, aged 14 to 20, who write their own material, play their own instruments and sing scorching leads and well-crafted harmonies."

Bio

Growing up in the Pennsylvania countryside, the sisters bonded as a creative unit by producing plays and making movies in addition to singing and playing music. The Chester Springs Actors Troupe, the local theater group they formed in 1997, gained regional respect and a loyal following over the four years they spent on it before their family moved to New York City.
Over the next 6 years, they had the opportunity to go on national tour with Kenny Rogers. It was with Kenny that they learned that the most important thing in the music business is to simply make music you love because everything else is not what makes you happy. Whether it was in huge arenas in Michigan or in a small cafe in Pennsylvania, the girls have learned that it is important to be true to yourself and people will love being entertained by you.
The band's loyal and growing fan base have helped them graduate from coffeehouses, schools, weddings and outdoor fairs and festivals to the well-known New York City clubs they now appear at regularly, like The Bitter End, Joe's Pub, Pianos and CB's Gallery.
What sets the band apart is the way they can play a show where they have 26 yrs olds, 6 yr olds, and 86 yr olds in the audience and each person will enjoy their music equally. That's a tough act to follow.
They are currently writing, performing, & recording in New York City. The girls are committed to making music their life long career and aspire to make music that lives up to their motto "Healing the world one song at a time"
