"The Aveonics"

The Aveonics self titled debut is a declaration of war and of their intention. Perfect pop tunes performed with heart and arranged with precision and care. It’s the sort of music that represents Australia amongst a calibre of band that is rarely seen in this country, with tight material and catchy tunes that entwine themselves in your head in a way that screams?radio friendly. The Aveonics play power pop with a leaning towards the grunge rock of bands like The Stone Temple Pilots. Excellent guitar work keeps the interest up throughout the record and there is fervour in all the performances. This is a too notch debut and if these guys can pull it off live, they are going to be finding a lot of fans out there waiting for them.

Bio

The story so far plays out like a well penned teaser trailer….

In March 2006, four friends from Sydney collaborated to form The Aveonics. Such is their energy and dynamics that it's taken no time at all to establish themselves on the live scene as a band not to be missed! Support is growing with an ever-growing fan base that remains loyal to the cause.

With evident rock prowess and genuine pop sensibility, The Aveonics are a testament to the fact that that bands are back, and song writing is alive and well!

A chance meeting with legendary producer Peter Blyton took the band into Studios 301, Sydney in September/October 2006. The result is the self titled five track EP which has already caused a stir locally, and raised ears internationally.

The opening track Perfect sets the tone for the rest of the album to follow and lets you know this band means business. Cross the night follows through with grinding guitar tracks and Coleman’s vocal timbre some say is reminiscent of Michael Hutchence. Afterglow slaps you in the face then takes you soaring through stories that are close to the heart and breaking free of the past. Beautiful Girl is mesmorising in it’s delivery, showing another side of The Aveonics, saying things ain’t always what they seem. Home closes this installment of The Aveonics with it’s infectious hook and something that we can all relate to.

2008 is already proving to be a big year for The Aveonics.
