Formed in Leeds around six months ago this unsigned act has proved to be nothing if not versatile. With a plethora of influences ranging from James Brown to Ani Difranco, it is easy to see how the six can capture the interest of any audience.
Double female lead vocals come in from different angles and work to create a crossover folk/soul style, complimenting each other perfectly. The band is held together by a spontaneous funk afro dub jazz influenced rhythm section, allowing the two melodic and sometimes freaky guitars
room to explore. The overall sound really draws roots from each song's original beginnings, whether it be folky, phat, freaky or just funky.
With new songs being worked on all the time each performance conjures up another new flavour.
