Started in the year 2001 by Orillia Ontario brothers Cam Roberts (Vocals, Guitar) and Brett Roberts (Drums), Awake and Dreaming is living proof that perseverance pays off. Countless North American tours, stints on the Vans Warped tour, being featured on major label compilation releases, and becoming the most played independent rock band in Canada on myspace.com have all helped solidify Awake and Dreaming’s presence in independent rock.
The band is looking to keep moving forward with their debut full length album It’s Always Midnight in Sin City. The album is packed full of 12 powerful and diverse rock songs showcase the bands raw musical talent and artistic ability. Just listening to Awake and Dreaming's songs is wonderful but seeing the band live is a full out experience – you just cant beat blazing three guitar rock mixed with high energy performances and songs that simply
