“Carry Me” is a really beautiful semi AOR ballad & the male vocals in this first song are very strong; but also the female vocalwork in following track “Awaken” are very impressive. Reveal contains a variety of musical styles within the Christian rock genre. Carry Me is a rock ballad that transcends the Christian realm. The songs Awaken and Restore use components of hard and ambient rock along with the amazing harmonies of the group's vocalists. Will You and Claire's Song capture authentic emotion in simple concise music and lyrics. Grace In Action, Mirror, and Reveal show the great mix of acoustic and electric sound and showcase the wide ranging vocal abilities of the group. The driving rhythms of Lavish and the mix of old time gospel and rock in Bend round out the eclectic group of songs that make up Reveal.

Bio
The members of AwakenUs feel called to reveal God's message of grace and hope through music. Their debut album, Reveal, is original Christian rock from their hearts. Reveal shows the musical diversity of AwakenUs. These songs contain themes close to the band members that everyone can relate to in their own lives.
From the rock ballad Carry Me, to the simple and melodic tracks Will You and Claire's Song, Reveal is about yearning for God and trusting that God is with us. It's about feeling alone, and needing God. It's about responding to God's call and wondering what God has in store. Sharing God's message is central to everything AwakenUs does. They are a high energy group that loves to share their message in live performances. Their passion and authenticity show in their live and recorded work which resonates with the listeners.
While the group was largely formed in 2003, some members have been playing together since 1999. A tight knit group of friends, they've enjoyed growing together musically. Their early work was leading praise and worship in their local church. They have been especially moved and inspired by their work at a church serving the inner city homeless. Recent opportunities to play their original songs live and for new audiences have AwakenUs excited for the future.
AwakenUs is part of Reveal Ministries, a non-profit organization to promote God's message of grace.
