The Aaron Williams Band has completed recording their new album The Art of Electricity to be released in summer 2014. The first single ASH was released in Austin TX when they performed during SXSW on five different stages. Ash has also received national airplay on the Mancow Morning Show (April 4th and 7th 2014) and currently is spinning in 30 states on college radio.
The band ambitiously recorded the new album with Grammy-nominated producer Johnny K at Groovemaster Studio in their hometown of Chicago. Johnny, having a leading reputation in the music industry has worked/works with several reputable bands and musicians, also is a working member for the Grammy Association. He and and the band spent 2013 recording and scalping The Art of Electricity.
The new songs carry infusions of classic, indie, and punk rock in which they have melded into an original sound that the band is excited to share with the world. Experience includes playing live at major venues across the country including House of Blues (LA and Chicago), Viper Room (West Hollywood), Blind Pig (Austin TX), Center Stage (Nashville TN) and Cubby Bear/Double Door (Chicago). In turn The Aaron Williams Band have gained elevated status within Chicago's music scene and now seeking avenues through sonic bids to aid in bringing the live show and new album to a national level in 2014.
