Although A.W.D.I.P. has a very unique musical style, they offer music that will appeal to fans of 8 Ball & MJG all the way to Atmosphere. The group is composed of six members: CT, DSD1, Ryan Hall, Ali, DOE, and Trouble. All were born in the Midwest, and have an appreciation for great music. CT, DOE, and Ryan Hall are all from Northwest Indiana and DSD1 is from Chicago. They all grew up idolizing the then underground artist Twista and music of many starving local artist. Ali is from South Bend, IN and Trouble is from Springfield, Ill. They both were very fond of the late Aaliyah. These six artists have just finished recording her debut CD with all of their own material, The Infection, which features a broad mix hip hop music. A.W.D.I.P. offers various rap styles from CT, DSD1, Ryan Hall, and DOE, pop influence from Ali and Trouble, and a Latin background from DSD1 makes them an excellent crossover group for the diverse U.S. market.

A.W.D.I.P. has performed in a variety of venues from local bars, to various fraternity parties, to many functions at Purdue University and The University of Green Bay – Wisconsin, and the Speedo Sausage Mullet 5th Annual Festival.

In addition to their talents on stage, they also enjoy writing songs. They identify themes, compose the lyrics, and develop the songs for all of their works. They have completed a multitude of songs that were influenced by variety of styles (Latin, Pop and Rock in particular.)

“We listen to it all, from System of a Down all the way to Three 6 Mafia. That’s why we can easily merge our style with other genres. And that’s why our fan base is not just composed of hip-hop fans.” --CT

Ali and Trouble also have an energetic and alluring on-stage presence as dancers. Ali is mainly a hip hop dancer and has been in a few music videos displaying her talents. Trouble is a former cheerleader/band member who has performed in functions and has a very strong interest in dancing.

“I love to sing, but I can just as easily express myself through dance. I just see it as another way to reach my audience. Plus its fun!” --Ali

CT is currently pursuing a degree in B.C.M. Technology, Trouble is in Sociology and a Purdue track star, Ali is in nursing, DSD1 and Ryan Hall are in Management, and Doe is currently working as a Cardiologist Technician. This is a very intelligent and ambitious group who has their eyes set on success no matter the possible outcome.

With CT (a mix of 8 Ball and NORE), DSD1 (influenced by Twista and Pitbull), Ryan Hall (comparable to Jadakiss and Obie Trice), DOE (a blend of Scarface and Pastor Troy), Ali (similar to Ciara), and Trouble (a great writer), A.W.D.I.P. offers an outstanding musical mixture with The Infection.
