Awkward Convos released their debut EP “Eidolon” which is now available to stream everywhere. Eidolon consists of five bedroom-composed tracks by Award-winning designer & youtuber Joshua Dickinson (aka. SquishyJoshy). Awkward Convos was a music project often put on hold due to various life events getting in the way. However, with a bit of extra time due to COVID-19, we’re pleased to finally release EIDOLON, a collection of tracks that were written over the past couple of years. Awkward Convos frontman Joshua is mixed British/Filipino, born and raised in Sydney, Australia. Growing up in a diverse family exposed Josh to a lot of cultures and a variety of music ranging from Alternative Rock to Folk, Metal as well as Gospel & Worship Music. It is a combination of all these things that has led Awkward Convos to write music that is deeper in meaning, that aims to shake up the music industry and reach people that need to hear it. Particularly AAPI (Asian American/Australian & Pacific Islander) communities, where Alternative Rock isn’t very well known.
