About Axel,
Axel Lindelauf, born and raised in Heerlen, The Netherlands, is a very talented and experienced musician, producer and songwriter. At the age of 7 he already played the blues on his fathers piano. His 10th birthday present was a little red organ, which he could transport to the rehearsal room of his first band. From then he played in dozen jazz/pop/rock bands. Stiff was one of the important ones and recorded in 1992 a very remarkable CD (jazz/blues with a poppy touch). The same year he started his study at the University of Music in Maastricht, which was a great foundation for his further career. When he was 14 years old he wrote his first real pop song and never stopped writing. One of his songs was the cause of a major record deal with BMG records when he was a full member of, the most popular band at that time, Volumia!
Volumia! sold over 1.000.000 Albums/Singles between 1998-2002. During his busy life being artist, he kept on working at other projects. (Check out the Discography’s). In April 2002 Volumia! decided to split up, because some members had other interests.
So had Axel...... He started with 2 old band mates a rock-band, The Crox. The press wrote hilarious about the songs and the production. The Crox is working on their 2nd album. Meanwhile...
Axel is probably writing a new hit single for a new (or existing) artist/band.
