Biography

Ayda is a talented young woman who has been burning for music since childhood.
Her parents began to notice her talent when she was at around eight years of age.

It wasn't until at sixteen when she took the music to a new level, and this thanks to her father.
Aydas father who was a great role model for her during her early teenage years said that a real artist writes their own songs, are original and play an instrument. This was when Ayda started learning the guitar.
As an imitation of the guitar playing, she also then start to write songs, and wrote her first song when she was only sixteen.
"Many people can sing, even better than I, but being an artist is so much more than that." said Ayda.
Aydas texts is very much about love in different forms, feelings of betrayal, hatred and relationships, but there are also social issues that she takes up in some songs.
"It's all about conveying a feeling to the listener, I want songs to sound magical."

During her early writing years, Ayda found a lot of her inspiration from Lauryn Hill, which has contributed not only to one of Aydas most heavy tracks from but has also influenced her style today.
She is influenced by everything nowadays, from a feeling, to someone she met on the train. Anything that appeals.
Her music is nothing that can be described, it could only be interpreted by listening.

Ayda- who turns 21 January the 8th 2011 - graduated in 2008 from an international high school in Gothenburg, Sweden with more than mediocre grades. She moved that same summer to England to study and has now been living there for more than two years.
She is currently studying the Psychology degree.

Ayda can not see a future without music, and she can't live without it.
"i just want my music to be heard. I don't really care about the rest".

Lyrics

Ayda - Say

Written By: Ayda

Say you’re gonna stay
For a while
Stay, we can sway for some time

Don’t say you have to leave
I have the need to
For you to get a grip of
whats beneath you

I know you’re tired of the situation
But this moment is so different now
Together we make new creation
But the making is mutual

Just say yes
Don’t say no
If you say yes
Then we can go, oh
Follow me (X10)

So say yes
Don’t say no
We can make change
Do you wanna go, oh oh
Follow me (X10)

All you gotta do is say it
Oh oh oh oh

Say, I’m the one
And let it be done
Say you’re mine to keep and that you’ve come
to stay

Dont say its not the time
The times begun
Be timeless, ruthless, stand tall, you belong
With me, me

I know you’re tired of anticipating
Waiting empty is di-ffi-cult
I need you to stop contemplating
Lay your cards on the table and

Chorus

I’ll be in the center point
Between the beginning and the over
Trust me I don’t disapoint
All you gotta do is just come closer

Wont be long ’fore you give in (Wont stop)
Once it begins so let me in
And say all you feeling inside
Don’t you like to fly? Eh?

Oh (4bars)

I’ll make it hot for you when you want it
I just gotta gotta hear you say it/But first I gotta hear you say it

Bridges Are Burned

Written By: Ayda

You’re the lesson I never learned
Totally wrecked out of the burn
Gave you chances to make things turn
With a hoping, with a yearn

That you would change (I hoped that you would change but you’re still the same)
But it was all in vain (Thought you’d stay true but it was all in vain)
Cuz you’re just the same X2 (Look around, look at you, boy you’re still the same)

Oh
Don’t bother mending roads
To make things work
The damage is done (The damage is done)

I’m taking back my vows
This is a no return
The bridges are burned
The bridges are burned

How many times more
Must we go through this?
Leading me astray
Actions speak much louder than words
But you don’t meet such standards

You said you’d change (I hoped that you would change but you’re still the same)
But it was all in vain (Thought you’d tell me the truth but it was all in vain)
Cuz everythings the same X2 (Look around, look at you, things are still the same)

I cant wait around
For the day to come
You’ve done too much hurt (hurt to me)
So sound your horn
And let them know
That the bridges are burned
The bridges are burned

And I’m past the expectancies
Cuz you’re moving in the same direction
And I’m going places to see
To find something better for me

Don’t bother mending roads
To make things work
The damage is done (The damage is done)

So sound your horn
And let them know
That the bridges are burned
The bridges are burned

Discography

I have had my songs played on the radio on few occasions, but other than that I have not yet released anything.

I've been writing since 16 years of age, and have continued up until now. I would say I have about 60 songs written, whereas 30 of them are "hit songs".
