AzKelt performs originals & covers. They have played such venues as The Knitting Factory, Sullivan Hall & Arlene's Grocery, as well as private parties in & around the Tri-State area & Poughkeepsie LIVE TV.
AzKelt was created in 2006 when members Rendon, Macco & Ruiz discovered they shared Irish & Mexican lineage. This fiery combination manifested into a unique, soulful, raw rock sound & powerful stage performance.
The Village Voice describes AzKelt as 'led by belly dancing sex goddess' & Rendon's melodies are sultry & unruly, driven by moving guitar effects & wicked tribal beats.
