Bio
AZOTE (Chris) was born in Cyprus, and her early childhood was spent at the seaside. Her father, a naval officer, instilled in Christine a love for the sea, and her mother, a psychologist by profession, but a musician at heart, gave her first steps in music. Chris received a unique deep timbre, a great desire and ability to write songs. Then the family moved to London for a while, where the parents have divorced. Being an ethnic Ukrainian, Chris and her mother moved to Mariupol, where her mother opens a music restaurant, and the teenager Chris helps her working in karaoke. This gave her the opportunity to learn to sing a huge number of songs in front of a large audience. The war in the East of Ukraine forced the family to move to the Uzhgorod. Here Chris meets the famous Ukrainian sound producer Max Fidosh (some years ago Champagne Morning was presented in BBC intro), who saw a huge talent and potential in her, and decided to stay to show this unique voice to the world.
