Azphodel

Zane Lazos formed Azphodel in early 2007 as the main vehicle of his solo musical and collaborative ritual performance-art work. Having played bass guitar for many years, Near-Eastern percussion, Turkish saz, Bulgarian gajda and academic study in music eventually led Zane to the Turkish tanbur and electronic music composition and performance. Azphodel is the culmination and continuation of efforts thus far to restore and maintain a balance in his life of the primal and the technological in music.
