Bio

The Azure Fields Music Ministry consists of wife and husband team: Suzanne & Alec Receveur.

The purpose for this ministry is to encourage people closer to Christ one song at a time. We are a family music ministry that enjoys traveling together on the weekends sharing God's music with any church who will open their door. We have no religious agenda and have only the desire to share our love for Jesus through His music.

As of now, Azure Fields has 6 CDs: Higher Ground, Stars Danced in the Night, Walking With Jesus, In Concert, Thank You, Lord, and our latest album, The Way To Grace. You can purchase these albums on the website: www.azurefields.com. Five of these albums have been featured on SafeTV's Purely Music Show. The newest album will be featured in a future broadcast of the Purely Music Show.

In 2004, Suzanne had an auto accident which took away the ability to play stringed instruments such as guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, dulcimer, etc as well as the piano. The first five albums are 90% Suzanne's arrangements and/or compositions and feature her playing the above mentioned instruments. Due to sustained injury, Suzanne is no longer playing any musical instruments or arranging music. However, she can still sing the praises of her Lord.

The newest album, The Way To Grace, was produced and arranged by Penn Pennington. Penn is a musical genious who works closely with the legendary country music singer Jack Greene and appears regularly on the Grand Ol' Opry. The songs that are on this album have been composed by various musicians and arranged by Penn to fit the vocal range of both Suzanne and Alec.
