Baba G'nush

Baba G'nush

At the core we are a funky hard rock band. We have elements of hip hop, funk, rock, metal, pop and reggae all together to incorporate music from all of our influences and to have something for everyone.

Baba G’nush is a four-piece alternative band out of Fairfax, Virginia that combines the elements of hard rock, hip-hop, and funk. Formed in early 2004, they quickly began writing original material, and are now trying to make their mark on the music scene. With influences such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, and 311, they create a sound that is a seamless systematic flow of energy from calm to crazy. Their live show is one full of energy that captivates the crowd and keeps them jumping the whole time. Baba G’nush has shared the stage with such acts as Buckcherry, Vanilla Ice, and Big Dume, and have played from Richmond, Virginia to Montreal, Canada. They also have had airtime on the local rock radio station, DC101.
